PURPOSE
Under supervision of the Executive Director, the Investor Relationship Manager is responsible for all Board of Directors Orientation, new board member development, and is tasked to broaden the base of investors by 100% over the current Watertown 2.0 cycle. Accounting duties include the processing of account receivables and account payables, tax reporting and general ledger maintenance. HR duties include support of onboarding, payroll and employee data management.
DUTIES
INVESTOR RELATIONSHIPS, RETENTION, AND EXPANSION
- Establishment of consistent communications with current/future investor base
- Development of Best Practices in cultivation of current/future investors in Watertown 2.0
- Incremental improvements in SOP on all investor relations tasks assigned by the Executive Director.
- Create a strategic plan on reaching 200 investor's in Watertown 2.0 in the next 4 years.
- Use strategic partnerships as a force multiplier in investor relations master planning programs annually.
- Set metrics to measure performance to goals.
All other program tasks as assigned by the Ex Director
ACCOUNTING FUNCTIONS:
Assists with payroll functions including time off requests and sick leave. Relays requests to VRS
Administer and create standard SOP for Accounting functions
Coordinate with VRS on AR/AP verifications
Collaboration with external partners In Audit/Balance sheet projects
HR FUNCTIONS:
Administer and create standard SOP for HR functions
Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee files
Answers frequently asked questions from employees relative to standard policies
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
Assists with new hire orientation functions and accurate new hire documentation
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
Reconciles monthly benefits statements.
Assists with processing of terminations, including documentation storage and HRIS data input.
Assists with the preparation of the performance review process; collecting completed reviews, filing review.
Administer annual open enrollment process.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Three years of accounting, payroll or support services experience preferred
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Accounting/Finance/HR preferred but not required
Knowledge and Abilities
Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting.
Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Highly proficient with accounting software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll management, human resource information system (HRIS), and similar computer applications.
Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MacOS, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams
