About the Job
We are currently searching for an Irrigation Install Foreman in the DC/Baltimore metro area, for an established, industry leading specialty contractor with a great reputation.
Install Foreman Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair lawn irrigation systems - Install, maintain and repair low voltage landscape lighting systems
- Must be able to obtain MD DOT card in order to pull trailer with trenching machine
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Provide excellent customer service and address client concerns
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Install Foreman Requirements:
- Previous experience in landscape irrigation installation a must
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and components
- Familiarity with industry codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Proficient in using hand and power tools for installation and repair work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Irrigation Install Foreman Skills:
- Irrigation:
* Ability to perform tasks such as installing /wiring controller, valves, various sensors
* Ability to operate or learn to operate trenching/ boring equipment. * Ability to install/ repair PVC mainline and Poly lateral lines with or without equipment
* Understand principals of water flow to properly zone and adjust a system * Familiar with running a project to be sure all materials needed are present
* Knowledge of irrigation systems including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Landscape Lighting:
* Ability to perform tasks such as installing / wiring low voltage landscape lighting transformers and fixtures
* Ability to understand and differentiate between different types of fixtures and lamps including beam spreads and color temperatures
