Irrigation Tech Needed! - Gpac

Gpac is excited to partner up with a family owned, well-respected, and growing irrigation/electric company in Americus seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical, irrigation, or mechanical work, with a strong aptitude for technical troubleshooting and problem-solving. Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems, including sprinklers, pivots, pumps, and controllers.
• Perform electrical wiring and connections for irrigation equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with irrigation equipment and electrical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of irrigation systems.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician, Electrician, or similar role preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills.
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, electrical systems, or mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
