Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS) Clinical Manager
Location: Cape Girardeau, MO
Work Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm. Some evenings may be required as necessary dependent upon agency and client need.
Full-Time, Exempt
Pay Range: $60,000 - 65,000/year - dependent upon relevant experiences, licensure, etc.
The Program
Ridgeway is a ten bed, all female, Intensive Residential Treatment Service (IRTS) that provides a high level of direct service and supports for individuals living with chronic mental health diagnoses (i.e., anxiety, bi-polar, depression, personality disorders, etc.) that often involve severe behavioral and emotional issues resulting in guardianship.
The Job
Provide all direct clinical admission(s) and treatment services for Ridgeway. Provide the clinical guidance to staff at Ridgeway.
Essential Functions
- Involved in the planning and implementation of clinical services.
- Participate in clinical staffing's, treatment team, and residential meetings.
- Provide program orientation to CSC.
- Review and approve documentation in the clinical record timely.
- Review new referrals for eligibility and complete justification for admission in the clinical record.
- Complete initial and group therapy services to residents. As well as guide group schedule.
- Develop in collaboration the individual treatment plan with new admissions and ongoing updates, as required.
- Provide individual and group therapy services to residents. As well as guide group schedule.
- Provide training of all supervised employee(s).
- Respond to the clinical needs of residents during working hours. Along with the occasional clinical support by phone after hours.
- Collaborate with other providers/treatment team members.
- Discharge planning and completion of discharge documentation.
- Weekly clinical reviews.
- Identify observations expectations for residents, i.e.: 15min., 30min. or 1 hour.
- Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
- Monthly reporting completed jointly with Ridgeway BHT coordinator.
- Supervise and direct supervisees in the performance of their job functions.
- Proactively provide feedback and training to supervisees to assist them with meeting performance expectations.
- Hold direct supervisees accountable for the satisfactory performance of their job functions, including issuing corrective discipline and make recommendations for termination, when warranted.
How Success is Measured:
- Maintain confidentiality regarding client and/or personnel matters.
- Maintain compliance with all policy and procedures.
- Complete all required training.
- Work cooperatively with other departments and members of the community.
- Participate in all required meetings as determined by supervisor or agency.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Human Services related field required.
- Licensed or Provisionally Licensed Therapist (LPC or PLPC) or Social Worker; (LMSW or LCSW)
- Valid Driver's License for current state of residence, must meet agency MVR standards, and current auto insurance.
