Location: San Diego, CA
Pay Rate: $25-28/hr (Based on experience_
Start Date: ASAP!
*Must be able to drive to different hospital/clinic sites throughout the county due to project needs. (Will not be driving throughout the day)
One location per shift and will be told ahead of time.
Training Schedule: First few weeks and have to follow what shift and site the trainer will be at
Shift: 8hr shifts Could be Mon-Sun
Schedule: Mon-Sun: 11:30AM-8PM PST, (You will work 1 weekend day Sat-Thurs or Sun-Fri and you can pick that schedule)
Contract Length: 3 months (Strong potential to extend based on performace!)
Job Description:Will be responsible for slinging hardware, updating equipment and pulling older equipment.
- Read and interpret technical documentation to complete moves, changes, and break/fix for hardware or software components.
- Follows established process and procedures to deliver, configure, monitor, test, maintain and troubleshoot end-point devices, applications or networks.
- Performs accurate documentation.
- Participates on cross functional, integrated teams to troubleshoot moderately complex issues.
- Acts as a liaison between customers and vendors to ensure requests, issues and problems are resolved in a timely manner.
- Functions under direct supervision and may be required to be on call.
Qualifications:
- Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills: Excellent critical and analytical thinking and excellent customer service skills.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Advanced troubleshooting skills. Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent understanding of the operations and functions of end-point devices, including (but not limited to) PCs, software, network switches, printers, patch panels, phones or faxes. Good understanding of cable plant infrastructure.
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification: 1+ years’ experience in IT, A+, Network+, CCENT, CNTS, ACIS certification preferred, Bachelor’s degree.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience with installation and configuration of Windows 7 & Windows 10.
- Hardware Refresh Experience, Outstanding Customer Service Skills, knowledge of PXE Boot, Desktop Troubleshooting, Configuring Printers and Peripheral Devices (Scanners, Credit Card Readers, Signature Pads).
- Basic understanding of networking, telecom and SCCM a big plus.
