About the Job
Our client is looking for iSeries Programmer located in Metro Detroit
Position Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance new and existing programs for the company s ERP system
- Implement full-stack solutions, including user interfaces, application logic, and database structures
- Collaborate with business teams to identify and create solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency
- Develop and maintain comprehensive user and system documentation
- Coordinate all aspects of program implementation, including user training and support for new applications
- Perform other duties as assigned
Location Requirement
- Candidates must reside in Michigan to be considered for this position
Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in RPG/RPGLE/RPGLE Free/SQLRPGLE programming
- Proficiency in SQL and functional knowledge of database management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) is a plus
- A proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly build relationships with internal stakeholders
