IT Administrator (Epicor EDI) at Blackstone Talent

We are recruiting an experienced IT Administrator with Epicor migration experience to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company's computer systems and networks, ensuring they run efficiently and securely. This position is an onsite position located in the South Houston area.

Duties

• Work closely with the Epicor migration from Epicor 9.05 to Kinetic Cloud
• Manage and maintain computer systems, including hardware, software, and networks
• Desktop support (Windows 10 & 11), office applications, Outlook, Teams, Microsoft
• Facilitate IT training for new hires and maintain training for current staff as it relates to technology updates
• Provide IT support to end-users, troubleshooting issues as they arise
• Function as the lead/point person for managing upgrades/patches in Kinetic
• Utilize vaticinate tools for predictive analytics in system maintenance
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation tasks
• Monitor and configure firewall settings to ensure network security
• Proficient in Crystal Reports and SSRS reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in IT administration or a related field
• Strong knowledge of computer management, network administration, and IT systems
• Experience working with and implementing Epicor
• Experience as a SharePoint Administrator
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for containerization
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies
• Extensive experience in developing BAQ’s and dashboards
• Strong background in networks with ability to trouble-shoot connectivity issues internally
• Understanding of firewall configurations and network security measures
• Project management skills a plus
