IT Architect - Prod Std

Job Purpose: Implements Web solutions by developing web-based strategies; designing, developing, and implementing architectures; validating site performance. Duties: Develops Web strategy by understanding key e-commerce objectives; diagnosing and mapping requirements; articulating solution risks and barriers; developing project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; planning full project life cycle. Designs Web architecture by translating e-commerce needs into technical solutions, including selection of technology, functionality, connectivity, scalability, usability, and security; recommending best-fit and best-breed architectures. Develops Web architecture by preparing development architectural specifications; identifying and evaluating tools; developing management procedures; collaborating with technical analysts. Implements Web architecture by building custom designs; completing prototyping; resolving problems; documenting development. Validates site performance by developing and conducting test scripts.
