IT Asset Analyst - Addison Group

About the Job
Daily Responsibilities:
- Track and label all newly acquired IT software and hardware in the asset management system.
- Partner with the Finance and Administration team to conduct audits of IT assets.
- Adhere to the disposal policy for end-of-life and damaged IT equipment.
- Develop and maintain reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for asset inventory.
- Allocate IT software and hardware to staff and consultants with assistance from the IT Helpdesk.
- Set up and deploy laptops and desktops for users.
- Oversee the management of loaner laptops via the IT ticketing system.
Required Software/Technical Skills:
- Manage work requests and issues within an IT ticketing platform.
- Build and maintain an IT asset management database.
- Execute Windows 10 imaging for computers.
- Effectively prioritize and track project tasks.
- Ability to move furniture and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Thrive under pressure and quickly adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple projects at once.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of staff.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Tech-savvy, with a proactive approach to finding technological solutions.
Required Work Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in managing IT assets.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, Remedy).
- Experience with asset management systems (e.g., KACE, ServiceNow).
- Practical experience in user training and troubleshooting.
- History of collaborating with vendors to resolve issues.
- Strong documentation skills for both internal and external purposes.
Required Degree/Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
- ITIL and IAITAM certification is preferred.
