IT Asset Management/Contract Specialist HW - (245753)

 Responsible for assigned activities relating to IT department's Hardware Asset Management, Contracts, Procurement, and Budgets. Hardware Asset Management responsibilities include developing and implementing a process for end-user and data center hardware acquisition, inventory management, tagging and tracking, and lifecycle management. Responds to requests for Hardware Asset Management data and reports. Forms procurement strategies to optimize hardware spending across the organization. Works with vendors, Legal, IT Directors/Managers, Project Team Members, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain Services, and other TUHS personnel to address technology-related contract issues. Processes procurement transactions to IT vendors and responds to vendor inquiries. Maintains/Monitors/Records information in databases utilized for IT support/service contracts and transaction. Responsible for providing accurate/timely information for the preparation of annual budgets and month end close. Reviews and approves invoices. Prepares purchase requisitions. Maintains functional knowledge of financial and contract management systems utilized by the Health System and develops and maintains documentation, as required.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Bachelors Degree : in a related field (Preferred)

Experience
2 Years experience in related role with proficient ability to troubleshoot, research, and solve complex problems involving Hardware Asset Management (Required)
Previous experience and working knowledge of hardware vendor relationship management, lease or buy analysis, and enterprise-wide hardware cost allocation (Required)
Previous hands on experience with SCCM and ServiceNow CMBD (Preferred)
Previous experience with User Manager, Exchange Administrator, and Active Directory (Preferred)
Previous experience with GAAP, budgeting, cash flow optimization, database administration, business process improvement, procurement, and complex project coordination (Preferred)
General experience in healthcare IT department (Preferred)
