IT Assistant - Elite Hire Pro

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our network infrastructure, attending to user issues related to PCs, performing software updates, and handling network wiring. Key Responsibilities:

Network Management:

• Maintain and troubleshoot the company’s network infrastructure.
• Assist in setting up new network systems and improving existing ones.

User Support:

• Respond to and resolve user issues related to PCs, laptops, and other IT equipment.
• Provide support for software applications, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
• Offer guidance and training to staff on IT best practices.

Software Maintenance:

• Perform regular updates and maintenance of software applications.
• Ensure all systems are up-to-date with the latest security patches and updates.

Wiring and Hardware Installation:

• Install and manage network cabling, including troubleshooting and repair as needed.
• Set up and configure hardware, including computers, printers, and network devices.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of all IT assets, including hardware and software.
• Document processes and provide reports on IT activities as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IT Assistant or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of network management, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Experience with PC troubleshooting and software updates.
• Ability to perform network wiring and hardware installations.
• Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
