Our client is seeking a skilled IT Azure Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will provide support for end users, manage equipment configurations, and implement ongoing security and technical enhancements.
We are looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about their work, adaptable to changing demands, and maintains a positive outlook. Fulltime, hybrid opportunity located near Colonie!
Responsibilities of the IT Azure Architect will include:
- Automate and streamline development and deployment processes in Azure.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines for Azure applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and security.
- Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure.
- Previous DevOps experience is a plus.
- Experience with physical Windows Server 20xx is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft services such as Active Directory (AD), EntraID, Defender, O365, Intune, Purview, VDI, Storage Spaces, and networking.
Qualifications of the IT Azure Architect:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven proficiency in supported products with the ability to resolve complex problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in installing and supporting connectivity and high-end systems reliably and efficiently.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Must maintain certification and demonstrate a high level of competence in software and hardware as defined by management.
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $100,000 to $125,000
