Business Analysis Consultant
Primary Responsibilities
- Owning, end-to-end accountability for business analysis and project delivery
- Leading analysis/project to successful completion
- Responsible for project coordination, developing project plans, status reporting and issue escalation
- Engaging with client leadership to ensure proper expectation setting and to fully understand requirements
- Define and manage a complex set of upstream downstream business and technology dependencies
- Ensuring proper alignment, integration and visibility across senior management and key stakeholders
- Driving consensus and decision-making with business, IT and executive management
- Influencing senior leaders to balance competing priorities
- Maintaining visibility on day-to-day activities with project teams and ensuring sufficient face-time with key executive stakeholders
- Managing project financials
- Mitigating risks and addressing program / project obstacles as needed
Qualifications:
Required: - Bachelor s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years Project Management experience in a large enterprise environment
- Demonstrated success leading IT project with matrixed project teams
- Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) project management
- Experience working with Senior Level leadership
- Experience managing teams that are located in different locations, onshore & offshore
- Ability to build and manage relationships across a large enterprise
- Executive presentation skills
- Ability to influence decisions from top down and bottom up
- Solid analytical, problem-solving and financial analysis skills.
- Proficiency in computer software such as Project, Power Point, Excel
Desired: - Exposure to multiple PM methodologies (Waterfall, Agile...)
- Experienced working in Security and risk management
- CISM and other security certifications
- Process implementation & re-engineering
- Health care insurance background is a strong plus
