Responsibilities:
- Be part of a flex-team that touches several programs within BCCR
- Sample work in multiple risk governance programs and to hone your risk and organizational skills
- Accurate documentation and notation of governance routines and stakeholder meetings
- Quickly comes up to speed and demonstrates basic acumen in GT risk management practices and framework
- Thorough, consistent attention to detail and identification of discrepancies or errors in documents, data sets or procedures
- Timely, accurate execution of standard operating procedures
- Proven ability to prioritize and successfully navigate multiple deliverables
- Able to schedule and track individual and group tasks to proactively meet timelines and due dates
- Effective identification and correction of formatting, grammatical or timestamp errors on presentations and documents
- Recommends or raises identified issues or process improvement opportunities
- Lead collaboration and influences teammates to ensure on-time or early delivery of tasks
- Eagerly and proactively dives in when teammates need assistance or are over capacity
- Demonstrated desire to learn and research related content
- Able to remain nimble and positive when priorities change and Ad hoc needs arise
- Driven by a sense of urgency
- Self serves and exhausts available resources or asks clarifying questions when work is ambiguous
- Demonstrate responsiveness and prompt follow up on tasks or questions
- Positively represent the BCCR organization in all areas of work
Requirements:
- Moderate Excel skills (3+ years)
- Advanced PowerPoint skills (5+ years)
- Moderate Word skills (3+ years)
- Beginner to moderate SharePoint skills (1+ years)
- Moderate to advanced communications and editorial writing skills (5+ years)
- Advanced notetaking and meeting management skills (5+ years)
- Moderate to advanced problem-solving skills (4+ years)
- Beginner to moderate end-to-end process or procedure management (3+ years)
- Able to consume large amounts of materials, which may include laws, regulations or policies, with an eye for quality output
- Strong focus on consistency
- Outgoing and eager to learn
- Effective prioritization of workbench deliverables
- Timely follow-up on requests and questions
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to work in hybrid or office work location
Desired skills:
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry or financial institution
- Has previously interacted with senior level managers
- Risk management or issues management experience
- Degree or certification in compliance, risk management, business or communications
