Position Summary: The IT-Business Systems Analyst will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. This individual will analyze business requirements, coordinate integration projects, and ensure seamless system operations.
Essential Functions:
- Participates in identifying business system requirements and related business/application solutions for a specific business need.
- Enter and manage tickets in Westcor’s internal tracking system from written requirements for development.
- Participate in the entire lifecycle of projects, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including test plans and regression suites.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and IT operations.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Drive process improvement by seeking out and identifying opportunities, business process definition, and system alignment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to maintain system stability.
- Complete tasks required by I.T. management when required.
Requirements:
- · Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of directly related experience in Title Insurance
- Knowledge of title production software and how it interacts with external services.
Competencies:
- Analytical skills
- Data management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to define parameters to meet business requirements.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Physical Demands:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, or bend for an extended period (8 hours)
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 5 lbs
- Must be able to listen and speak clearly over the phone
