Join Colgate-Palmolive as a GIT Communications Specialist, where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and driving impactful communications strategies under the mentorship of the Director of Strategy and Operations - Global IT. In this dynamic role, you'll craft engaging plans and content that generate excitement about Global IT both externally and internally. You'll have the opportunity to foster engagement with GIT employees, business partners, strategic vendors, and other stakeholders. What you'll do:
Communications Strategy Development: Create and implement internal and external communications strategies to ensure consistent and positive messaging for Global IT.
Content and Editorial Management: Own and manage the Global IT content strategy, including developing an editorial calendar and crafting communication initiatives and campaigns.
Collaboration and Leadership: Work with Corporate Communications on external content and lead executive communications for the CIO and Global IT Leadership team.
Talent Attraction and Culture Promotion: Partner with HR to craft narratives that attract talent, promote organizational culture, and build capabilities within Global IT.
Engagement and Learning Coordination: Oversee Global IT Leadership engagement sessions and work with HR to align learning strategies and budgets.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 5+ years of relevant communications experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Superlative writing, editing, and oral skills with a knack for clever taglines.
+ Understands the importance of message, messenger, and vehicle, balancing tactical and strategic skills.
+ Finds creative and effective ways to accomplish tasks collaboratively.
+ Values diverse ideas, contributes actively, and embraces technology to enhance effectiveness.
+ Intellectually curious with strong project management skills, seeking innovative solutions and educational opportunities for others.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $88,800.00 - $134,400.00 USD
Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.
Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:
+ Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.
+ Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements
+ Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually
+ Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually
+ Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year
+ Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
