IT Consultant - Midwest Technology Partnership, LLC (MTP)

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will leverage technical expertise and strategic insight to provide exceptional advice and solutions that address the technological challenges faced by our clients. This role involves assessing client needs, recommending appropriate technology, and ensuring successful implementation of IT strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Consultation & Strategy Development
Engage with clients to understand their business requirements and technology needs, providing expert advice on IT infrastructure and solutions.

Needs Assessment
Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ current IT systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

Solution Design
Develop customized technology solutions, including software, hardware, network configurations, and cloud services, tailored to specific client requirements.

Implementation & Management
Oversee the deployment of IT solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems while minimizing business disruptions.

Training & Support
Provide training sessions and documentation for clients' staff; offer ongoing support to address questions and troubleshoot issues.

Project Management
Lead IT projects from inception to completion, coordinating with stakeholders, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.

Trend Analysis
Stay abreast of current industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to help clients maintain a competitive edge.

Reporting & Documentation
Prepare detailed reports and presentations documenting project progress, system performance, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4+ years hands on experience with Microsoft Windows Server & VMware technologies
• Proven experience as an IT Consultant or in a similar technical role
• Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, network security, and cloud computing
• Experience working in large to enterprise level IT environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solution
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Relevant certifications (MCSA, MS Cloud Stack, VCP, CCNP/CCNA, Security)
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
