Perform a variety of IT and systems analysis, forecasting, troubleshooting, development, and evolution to continue to move the company to be as IT savvy as necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the IT department at Winter Services including:
- Hardware, phone systems, print environment, and cloud base infrastructure
- Managing third party IT support vendor including invoice review
- Provide remote or onsite support to resolve problems with products, applications and operating systems of desktop/laptop devices and hardware
- Evaluate more complex service issues and coordinate with appropriate third-party IT Support Vendor engineers
- Log and monitor all requests and maintain full documentation into the ticketing system
- Assist with development and maintenance of appropriate technical documentation
- Provide timely and accurate progress status on all ongoing support issues/projects
- Maintain a high level of customer service for all support queries
- Manage company software product licenses and renewals
- Design and manage IT training processes for end users within the organization
- Manage and perform on-boarding/off-boarding of employees
- Manage ISP providers
- Forecast, evaluate, recommend, and implement new software and hardware technologies to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance across the organization including:
- Monitor hardware useful life and lead procurement of IT hardware
- Analyze performance trends and give recommendations on improvements
- Collaborate with heads of departments for additional needs/adjustments
- Act as an IT thought leader by staying up to date on industry trends and best practices
- Participate in the acquisitions of new companies coming in the Winter Services organization including:
- Developing and proposing IT integration plan
- Onsite visits and assessments of IT related resources
- Hardware upgrades and budgeting
- Migration of systems to Winter Services platform
- Multi-task under time constraints
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science
- 3-5 years in IT Operations and Support
- Knowledge of office administration and procedures
- Knowledge of Network Management and IT system protocols.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- Laptop and desktop hardware
- Mobile devices and tablets
- Windows desktop operating systems (Windows 10 and 11)
- End user applications and software
- Network peripherals
- Printers
- Discretion and trustworthiness due to frequent contact with confidential material
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Experience with documentation software and proven data recordkeeping accuracy.
- Ability to consistently provide responsive, professional, and highly personable technical support.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequently lift objects weighting up to 50 pounds
- Climb stairs
- Sit for long periods of time
- Occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch
- Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects
