Summary You will serve as an IT CYBERSECURITY SPECIALIST(ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE) in the MISSION OPERATIONS & INTEGRATION DEPT DIGITAL ENGINEERING DIV, SE & ALRE GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE. Responsibilities You will configure application software to meet security technical implementation guidelines. You will analyze customer information technology (IT) requirements to design or develop web application solutions. You will evaluate human-system interfaces to identify compatibility with capabilities and limitations of the user population. You will discuss application specific or enclave wide operational issues with customers to assist with troubleshooting. You will author policies to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to information technology (IT) systems. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the DS-05 (Equivalent to GS-12/13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing, monitoring, maintaining, and decommissioning of software applications and tools being used at an Enterprise-wide scale. 2) Interfacing with users, customers, funding sponsors, and various levels of management at various levels of the Software Development Life-Cycle. 3) Serving as the lead developer utilizing understanding of requirements generation, development, testing & evaluation, deployment, lifecycle maintenance, system administration, and decommissioning of systems. 4) Monitoring implementation of Branch procedures, development practices and SWPs/SOPs, making recommendations where improvements can be made. Education Education: All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
