Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
- Work with internal customers defining and capturing business software requirements.
- Lead reviewing and analyzing the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business systems and developing strategies for improving and further leveraging these systems.
- Lead the testing and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
- Act as project manager for IT and business process improvement projects.
- Analyze and resolve software errors in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Assist in training and support of internal users during software implementation.
- In conjunction with data owners and business units, develop reports, models, and procedures, for reporting.
- Provide ongoing software support to end users.
- Provide orientation and training to end users for new software systems and customizations.
- Keep abreast of new software development trends and technology.
- Keep up to date on industry trends to ensure that currently used programming languages, application frameworks, and development tools stay current.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by management
Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
- Working technical knowledge of object-oriented programming best practices.
- Working technical knowledge of SQL Server database design, query development, and administration
- Full stack Web Application development including client user interface design and development and consumption of REST and SOAP web services for system integration.
- Experience supporting and customizing ERP systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative project environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET framework and C#, and HTML/CSS/Javascript is preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with quote-to-cash systems is preferred.
- Report design and administration using business intelligence tools such as Crystal Reports, Microsoft SSRS, Microsoft Power BI, etc. is preferred.
- Knowledge of any of these software / technologies is advantageous: Flex/Actionscript development, Epicor Kinetic ERP system, AutoCAD and SolidWorks engineering software
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

- Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines and handle technical emergencies.

- Limited travel to other facilities as needed.
