IT/Disaster Recovery Analyst - Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare

Responsible for coordinating and developing disaster recovery plans. Develop, recommend, and implement procedures to ensure the organization can respond to a disaster so that the critical information technology (IT) functions can be resumed within a defined time frame, and the amount of loss can be minimized and the stricken facilities repaired or replaced as quickly as possible. Responsibility includes coordinating maintenance of and exercising (testing) the recovery plans for each critical functional unit.

Required Education:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information security, computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on work experience.

Required Experience:

• Required: Five (5) years of progressive IT experience. Experience and demonstrated proficiency in DR program execution, managing process change projects, and knowledge of the disaster recovery program lifecycle. Technically strong; working knowledge of system hardware, software, protocols, standards, and back-up software. Ability to work independently and to take emergent decisions on one’s own. Strong ITIL service management knowledge around service design, change management, incident management, and continuity management. Proficient in using Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (including MS Visio and MS Project)
• Preferred: Two (2) years of experience in disaster recovery (DR)/business continuity. Healthcare background

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, DRII or BCI
