Summary:
As the IT Divestment Project Management Support, you will assist both the Global and Local teams by providing critical administrative and logistical support across various workstreams involved in the IT divestment process. Your role will ensure the smooth execution of project tasks and coordination of activities, working closely with the IT Divestment Leadership Teams, including areas such as IT infrastructure, ERP, IT Quality, CSV QA, MSAT / Automation, and Procurement/Contracting.
Responsibilities include:
- Meeting Coordination and Minute-Taking: Organize and schedule project meetings, prepare agendas, and accurately record and distribute minutes, ensuring all action items are clearly documented and tracked.
- Workshop Preparation: Plan, organize, and coordinate workshops, including scheduling, material preparation, and ensuring the availability of necessary equipment and resources.
- Documentation Management: Maintain and organize project documentation, including contracts, schedules, risk logs, and reports, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to team members.
- Communication Support: Draft and disseminate internal and external communications, ensuring consistent and clear messaging regarding project progress, changes, and critical updates.
- Follow-Up and Tracking: Monitor the progress of action items and deliverables, providing regular updates to project managers and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Assist in coordinating with various stakeholders, including IT and business leaders, to align on project goals and timelines.
- Logistics Support: Arrange logistical details for project activities, including travel arrangements, workshop setups, and other necessary preparations.
- Risk and Issue Management: Support the identification and documentation of project risks and issues, helping to develop mitigation strategies and maintain a risk log.
Desired Qualification and Expertise:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
- Proficient in project management tools and software (experience in G-Suite and Smartsheet preferred).
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, with a strong advantage for those with experience at Genentech
- Prior experience in divestment projects, mergers, and acquisitions (M&A) is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in project management or PMO roles, particularly in IT projects, is preferred.
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure and systems, ERP, and software applications is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenges and changes effectively.
Location: Remote, but must come into Vacaville, CA office occassionally
Shift: Monday-Friday, available partially during golden hours with time in office as required.
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $94.29/hr - $122.60/hr
