IT Field Support Specialist I:
Job Summary
- The Healthcare IT Field Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical and workflows support, troubleshooting, and problem resolution for clinicians. This position is responsible for ensuring that all healthcare IT systems and equipment are functioning properly and efficiently, and that any issues are resolved in a timely, efficient, and effective manner to support patient care.
Job Requirements
- Education
- Preferred: Associates degree in healthcare information technology, information technology, related field.
- Experience
- Required: 2+ years of experience in healthcare IT support, healthcare operations, education, or related field OR Associates degree in healthcare information technology, information technology, related field.
- Skills
- Basic knowledge of healthcare IT systems and regulations
- Good problem-solving skills, good written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to provide friendly, patient, and effective support to end-users.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Effectively troubleshoots end user issues, both technical and application, and escalates to additional resources as needed.

- Advanced client engagement skillset including mitigation and level reasoning.
- Ability to work in a team environment with excellent attention to detail.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them based on urgency
- Takes initiative to assist with new team member training and mentoring.
