Position: IT Field Support Technician II
Duration: Contract to hire

Reports To: IT Field Service Manager
Overview:
The IT Field Support Technician II provides onsite and remote technical assistance, addressing a wide array of hardware, software, and network issues. This role requires strong customer service skills, broad technical expertise, and flexibility to troubleshoot in both office and field environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and technical support both in-field and remotely.
- Resolve complex issues involving hardware, software, and networking.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide clear updates on technical resolutions.
- Support computer setups, mobile devices, and office software (Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Perform basic network troubleshooting including DHCP, DNS, VPN, VLAN, and IP configurations.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance support efficiency.
- Maintain service records in a helpdesk system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
- 1-2 years of relevant IT field support experience.
- Strong understanding of basic networking principles and hands-on troubleshooting experience.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong customer-focused communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Windows OS, mobile device management, and networking fundamentals.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues both on-site and remotely.
Physical and Environmental Considerations:
- Requires regular field visits to client sites and may involve lifting equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Work environment includes both office settings and client locations, with occasional exposure to outdoor conditions.
