IT Infrastructure Engineer - Peer Consulting Resources Inc.

Job Description:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commissioning roles within the process industry, particularly with IT and automation systems.
• Strong understanding of process control systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, Connected Systems) and industrial IT networks.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and standards in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of Firewall setup, Network setup, Network Security etc.
• Work on the design, development, and deployment of a standard remote connectivity/firewall solution & support any customer-specific exceptions
• Experience in Installations of any data/business/applications and analyzing while performing service activities
• Experience in commissioning digitalization projects, IoT, or data analytics within industrial plants.
• Knowledge of process industry standards such as ISA, IEC, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation such as P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and network topologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with an ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
