*** Contract position for 12+ months; contract can be extended; contract to hire is possible.

*** The job is on-site with a HYBRID work schedule. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate within commuting distance of Pittsburgh PA or Cleveland OH

IT Infrastructure Support Engineer :

- Support infrastructure solutions ( servers, OS ) for enterprise applications
- Deploy and administer Windows and Linux server environments using VMWare virtualization solutions
- Manage infrastructure compute capacity planning and resource allocation, evaluate and optimize server configurations for performance and efficiency
- Develop automated infrastructure deployment scripts ( YAML and tools like Ansible / Terraform /  CloudFormation / ARM (Azure Resource Manager) / Kubernetes / OpenShift )
- Configure and maintain non-relational database platforms

Required Qualifications (Skills, Experience, Education, Certifications) :

- Experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering
- Windows and Linux server administration
- VMWare virtualization technologies, VMWare certification desired
- Infrastructure tasks automation using YAML scripting
- Any experience with non-SQL databases will be a plus : MongoDB / CouchDB / DynamoDB / Apache Cassandra / HBase / etc
- Familiarity with enterprise tools preferred: Jira for project tracking, SharePoint for documentation, Confluence for collaboration, ServiceNow for service management
