Overview:The IT Intern will support our in-house IT department in a variety of areas, including new hire technology setup and onboarding, digital signage support, O365 administration, daily cybersecurity review, and hardware and software support. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, assist with the implementation of new technologies, and provide training and support to team members.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $19.

Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Enter, verify, and resolve data entry errors in databases, systems, and spreadsheets.
- Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance.
- Provide training and support to team members in the use of computer systems and software.
- Set up new employees' technology, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
- Provide onboarding training on how to use the company's IT systems and applications.
- Provide technical support to employees who are having problems with their hardware or software.
- Support the company's digital signage network.
- Troubleshoot problems and ensure that the network is secure.
- Administer the company's O365 environment.
- Conduct a daily cybersecurity review of all systems, emails, and endpoints.
- Check for malware, vulnerabilities, and unauthorized access.
- Work with employees to understand their needs and then recommend solutions that meet those needs.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Actively pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Business Technology, Information Technology, computer science, or a related field.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of computer systems and software
- Familiarity with hardware and software installation
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology.
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs. and occasional sitting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills over the phone, by email and in-person
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

COMPUTER & TECHNOLOGY SKILLS:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS SharePoint and MS Outlook
- Photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop
- Internet proficient

Incumbent works in an office setting with minimal adverse exposure to environmental hazards. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. While maneuvering throughout facility and on the show floor, employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and equipment, such as forklifts and electric carts, as well as loud noises originating from the use of individual and multiple quantities of mechanical equipment. The employee is occasionally exposed to exhaust fumes and airborne particles.
