WSP has an opportunity for a Junior IT Financial Analyst to join our team in Ephrata, PA . This role will support the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions within the IT department. Responsibilities include gathering, interpreting, and analyzing financial data to assist in budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance and IT systems, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Your Impact
+ Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
+ Data Management: Maintain and update financial databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
+ Reporting: Support the monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes, providing insights and recommendations based on financial data.
+ Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with IT and finance teams to develop and manage budgets and forecasts.
+ Cost Management: Monitor and analyze IT expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
+ Project Support: Assist in financial planning and analysis for IT projects, including cost-benefit analysis and ROI calculations.
+ Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
+ Purchase Orders and Invoice Processing: Adhere to processes within ERP Modules for timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and invoices.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
+ Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Or equivalent years of experience.
+ 0-1 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within an IT environment.
+ Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle), advanced Excel skills, and database management.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
+ Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
