IT Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day IT operations and supervise a small IT team, including an IT Specialist. This role involves managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including POS systems like Aloha and possibly Toast, while also handling the planning and implementation of technology improvements. The IT Manager will ensure the smooth functioning of the company’s technical systems, providing leadership and support to the CFO.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership & Supervision:
- Supervise and guide the IT Specialist, ensuring tasks are completed effectively.
- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and manage workloads to ensure IT support needs are met.
IT Infrastructure Management:
- Maintain and manage all IT systems, including networks, servers, and hardware.
- Ensure the Aloha and Toast POS systems function effectively and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
System Improvements:
- Collaborate with senior management to plan and execute technology improvements that align with business needs.
- Lead IT projects such as system upgrades and software implementation.
Technical Support:
- Provide advanced technical support when necessary, resolving more complex issues escalated from the IT Specialist.
Vendor Management:
- Coordinate with external vendors for hardware, software, and service needs, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
Security & Compliance:
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations, maintaining protocols for backups and disaster recovery.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: 3-5 years in IT management or an advanced IT individual contributor role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining network systems, hardware, and software.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux-based systems.
- Familiarity with backup solutions, firewalls, and antivirus systems.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose complex technical issues and resolve them promptly.
Compensation Range $108,000 - $130,000
