Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 Annually DOE and Education
About Us:
We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join our team and lead our technology initiatives.
Job Summary:
The IT Manager will oversee the IT department, ensuring that all technology systems and operations align with the company's goals. This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, implementing new technologies, and maintaining the overall IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement IT strategies that support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Project Management: Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and applications.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and guidance to staff, resolving IT issues promptly.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
- Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service delivery.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all IT operations comply with relevant regulations and standards, maintaining the security of company data and systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security protocols.
- Proven experience in project management and team leadership.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, Cisco).
- Experience with cloud computing and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
