Pay Range: $44,000-$62,000
We are currently seeking an exceptional candidate to be part of the IT Foam Manufacturing team at Tempur Sealy. This person will be responsible for daily support and technical expertise ensuring 99.9% uptime at our Manufacturing facilities. This individual will join a team of IT professionals to help support and improve foam manufacturing throughout the US.
What You’ll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
* Monitor and respond timely and effectively to end user needs.
* Purchase, Install, and Configure end user devices and peripherals.
* Install, modify, and make repairs to software systems, collaboration devices, and surveillance equipment.
* Maintain thermal, laser, and DOD printers using given procedures and available parts.
* Replaces and maintains warranty parts with approved company vendors.
* Install and maintain software configuration by using imaging software or full OEM installation procedures for upgrade and for major rollouts of software/hardware.
* Recommends or performs remedial actions to correct hardware and/or software malfunctions.
* Clearly articulate any expected challenges with implementing various projects and offer viable solutions or alternatives to management or Senior IT analysts.
* Aid other team members by being open to brainstorming sessions, discussing viable solutions and assisting in code reviews for projects delivered both internally and by third parties.
* Become knowledgeable about key end-to-end business processes, in both functional and technical capacities.
* Be able to manage shifting priorities and multi-task work on different deliverables.
* Manage software licensing to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
* Record placement and movement of hardware in the Inventory database.
* Install, monitor, troubleshoot and repair plant information and audio system to include all aspects of cabling, impedance matching, and delivery of music and information to shop floor.
* Responsible for ensuring that all Shop Floor Control Time and Attendance/Production Reporting terminals are operating, and information and time stamps are always consistent and operational.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need (Qualifications):
* 1 years of experience in a Microsoft Windows environment.
* 1vyears of Desktop troubleshooting experience.
* 2 years of IT Help Desk experience.
* 18 months of experience in repair and operation of the computer systems in use by the company.
* Advanced knowledge of PC usage required to include using Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, and data entry operations.
* COMPTIA A or Microsoft certifications preferred.
* Associate's degree in technology or equivalent work experience.
* Experience with a hybrid converged network is preferred.
* Experience within person and remote troubleshooting techniques.
* Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.
* Up to date with current technology trends.
* Leverages technical expertise to get results.
* Ability to read and interpret business documents and technical procedures.
* Ability to draft reports, memos, and technical documentation.
* Ability to present information and respond to questions from co-workers and other company personnel.
* The employee is occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in high places.
* The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
* Most of the employee's duties are conducted in the computer center, however occasional work in the manufacturing area is required.
