Summary
Our client is one San Diego’s most well sought-after commercial construction general contractors (GC). They are in immediate need of an IT Operations Manager designs, implements, and supports all lines of business systems and ensure alignment with organizational goals. The Technical Operations Manager oversees helpdesk support operations and manages the team to ensure prompt responses to employee questions and problems.Duties & Responsibilities
- Construction Business Operations Management
Identify challenges and opportunities in the business environment.
Propose and manage solutions to challenges and opportunities in line with the overall business development roadmap.
Provide planning, forecasting, and financial analysis for all business initiatives.
Provide reporting as required by analysis of business initiatives.
Visit construction project sites as necessary to provide on-site training on all relevant information systems.
Create and manage employee learning programs through both quarterly training and continuous e-learning.
Assist the Director of Technical Operations, with any initiative related rollout items.
- Systems Administration and Governance
Ensure compliance, security, and auditability of all line of business systems.
Plan all disaster recovery methods and requirements.
Ensure business continuity of all information systems and technology.
Plan system and environment architecture changes; ensure business continuity for all information technology projects.
- Support Operations and Information Technology Management
Direct and manage helpdesk support operations. Providing task assignment and direction, workload planning, and support
coordination to support engineer(s) and coordinator(s).
Support day to day business operations by fielding both internal and external phone calls, support tickets, and emails.
Direct day to day information technology operations including employee lifecycle, device management and
inventory, vendor scope negotiations, project planning and roll-out.

Mentor and develop team members to foster trusting relationships and develop the next generation of leaders.
Provide regular performance feedback and input with a balanced strengths-based approach.
Actively participates in Onboarding and Dynamic Orbit.
Supports and embodies company maxims and value proposition to create deep, lasting relationships with clients and
business partners.
