IT Project Coordinator - 100 % REMOTE at TEKsystems

Description:

The Project Coordinator role will be responsible for the coordination of multiple project teams concurrently. They will be communications with executive staff on a regular basis (reporting directly to a director level role) - communications have to be clear, concise, and professional. Being in a high-profile position, this particular person will need to dress professionally on a daily basis, higher than business casual, this is shirt and tie, plus a blazer/sport coat.

Communication:

• Doesn’t over communicate and provides timely and relevant communication.

• Executive level status reporting

• Weekly updates for Director level consumption

• Detailed notes during incident remediation with timeline

• Project and team meeting notes including action items and dates

Process driven:

• Develop and document process and scripts

• Continuous process improvement

• Familiar with the development and use of RACI charts

• Develop process diagrams and workflows

Project management skills:

• Drive internal IT initiatives

• Work with the Executive IT Support team and other IT teams to implement tools and processes

Organizational skills:

• Help manage the support team’s work priorities and balance workloads

• Scheduling meetings

• Managing Executive contact list and maintaining accurate list of supported equipment

• Equipment ordering and maintaining accurate list of spare equipment

Works well with others:

• Well need to work with a variety of IT teams to develop process and documentation

• Leads by example

Understands Technology and Tools:

• Understands general technology terms related to Networking, Security, Computer equipment.

• Experience with document management software; SharePoint

• Collaboration tools, Teams, and others

• MS Office 365, Excel, Word, Visio

• MS Planner, Teams, OneDrive, and OneNote

• PowerBI (Nice to have)

Work Product and Service:

• Exhibits the right amount of urgency for the current situation

• Good Work Ethic; leads by example

• Produces high quality deliverable without a lot of oversight

• Incorporates QA process for deliverables

• Can work independently
