2 open positions to fill: 1 opening for a bilingual Japanese candidate. This is a requirement. They need to be able to read and write in Japanese. Not just conversational but also have professional bilingual experience and skills.
Required Skills:
2-5 years of experience in IT project management in financial industry is preferred.
Validation of numbers and dates are required daily.
Review and approve Project Funding Request (PFR), Project Plan, and Change Control Request (CCR) by validating;
Support on the toolset (JIRA, Microsoft Project Server, Project Portfolio Portal [in-house], etc.)
Attention to details is a MUST
In this role, you will focus on reviewing and approving Project funding request (PFR) and Change control request (CCR) submitted from project teams to ensure adherence to ITPD (Project life cycle), feasibility and justification of project plans (cost, schedule, scope), cost optimization, risk identifications and appropriate level of details are provided in documentations.
Responsibility will include providing guidance to project teams to resolve complex situations, mitigate risks and how to apply ITPD in unique situations and providing support with toolsets (Project portfolio portal (PPP- in house tool), MS project, Planview etc), and coordinating with HO (home office in Japan) for PFR/CCR approvals when required.
Additionally, packing PFR/CCR based on the information provided by PMs (summarizing the request, input information in cost plan etc) for expedited approvals of PFR/CCR.
