Position Title: IT Program Analysis / Project Management Clearance:TS/SCI
Position Description: As an IT Program Analyst, your pivotal role involves providing essential support and analysis to ensure the successful execution and management of IT programs. These responsibilities encompass a diverse range of tasks, including research, integration, testing and evaluation, initial fielding, sustainment, and the provision of training to end users. Your responsibilities encompass a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Program Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of IT programs and projects, including their objectives, timelines, and resource allocations. Analyze program performance against established metrics and benchmarks.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, process, and analyze data related to IT programs, ensuring accuracy and relevance. Use various data analysis tools and methodologies to draw actionable insights.
- Risk Identification and Mitigation: Identify potential risks and challenges within IT programs, both proactively and in response to emerging issues. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with program stakeholders, including technical teams, project managers, and senior leadership. Ensure transparency and timely reporting on program status and key findings.
- Performance Improvement: Collaborate with IT teams to identify opportunities for program enhancement and optimization. Propose recommendations for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure that IT programs adhere to established compliance standards, industry best practices, and relevant regulations. Assist in the development and maintenance of program governance structures.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of IT technologies, trends, and emerging innovations. Apply this knowledge to inform program analysis and decision-making.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and documentation summarizing program analysis findings and recommendations. Ensure that all relevant documentation is accurately maintained.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on developments in the IT industry and program management methodologies. Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program managers, engineers, and subject matter experts, to ensure cohesive program execution and address any technical or analytical challenges.
- Ad Hoc Support: Provide ad hoc support as needed to address urgent program issues or special projects related to IT program management.
