General Description: Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control and completion of information technology projects, in accordance with the mission and goals, and in support of the strategic direction, of Chimes. The Project Manager will demonstrate proficiency in the areas of: Leadership, communication, planning, time management, risk management, negotiation and relevant subject matter. - Maintains organization's effectiveness by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans regarding IT solutions.
- Conducts technological research by studying organizational goals and practices, gears IT solutions in that direction.
- Develops the strategy for managing the timeline and budget of programs desired.
- Documents and articulates project status to decision makers and stake holders.
- Proactively works with the key stakeholders to identify, approve, and prioritize all projects and deliverables throughout the lifecycle of the program.
- Develops the project schedule including the order in which things will be executed, the amount of time required for each, and the major milestones.
- Conducts post project reviews.
- Maintains exceptional service by enforcing organizational standards.
- Develops project budget and manages costs/budget through project lifecycle.
- Establishes collaborative relationships with customers for project success and customer satisfaction.
- Manages cross-functional teams (IT and operational) inclusive of assigning work, monitoring results and problem identification and resolution.
- Provides internal and client management through regular project reviews.
- Identifies project risks and provide prudent and timely recommendations for risk avoidance.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in IT related field
Requirements:
- 3 years of proven project management experience.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees across the organization.
- Track record in driving change across the organization.
- Extremely organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Detail oriented
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-starter, able to work independently.
- Proficiency with related project management software tools.
