Armand Corporation, an award-winning M/WBE Construction Management firm celebrating over 33 years in the industry, is seeking a full-time IT Project Manager for a federal construction project related to complex rail, transit, and other transportation projects in NY & NJ.
The ideal candidate has 8 years of full-time experience in Information Technology, particularly specialized in handling PMIS implementation in a construction setting, as well as a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
This position will be full-time, on-site. Candidates are expected to live in or near the New York metropolitan area.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage daily project management functions to control scope, schedule, and risk mitigation; ensuring project progression and quality.
- Handle IT systems implementation and administration.
- Collaborate with the technical team to provide comprehensive systems support.
- Track and document crucial project markers to ensure the on-time delivery of IT project goals.
- Participate in update meetings to relay and address client concerns.
- Prioritize conflicting needs; handle matters expeditiously, and follow through on projects to successful completion.
- Other related duties and tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or related required; advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years in Information Technology Management, preferably relating to construction.
- Proficient in eBuilder, Oracle Unifier, and similar PMIS tools.
- Strong data management skills, with expertise in PowerBI, Access, Excel, and database structures.
- Ability to pass a TWIC and/or SWAC Background Check at High Level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
