IT Project Manager - Worldwide Flight Services

The IT Project Manager is responsible to lead and manage technology projects from initiation through to completion. Has a strong background in IT project management and excellent communication skills.

• Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, and deliverables. Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring all members are aligned and motivated to achieve project objectives.
• Execution and Monitoring: Oversee the execution of project plans, track progress, and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure timely delivery.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, challenges, and solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the established quality standards and requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and lessons learned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Project Management or a related field
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with 3+ years experience
• PMP Certification
• Certification and/or strong knowledge in Lean project management and Agile methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in project management software and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint).

• Experience in managing cross functional teams in delivering technical projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Significant knowledge and experience with project management methodologies, strategies, processes and project financial management, organizational change management concepts, and business process improvement.
• Ability to effectively present project updates with a firm understanding of dependencies, scope, cost, and milestones.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.

• Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• Walk short distances.
• Reach above and/or below shoulder.
• Handle/grasp documents or office equipment.
• Sit and/or stand for short or extended periods of time.
• Lift/carry/move objects, files and documents up to 10 pounds.
• Work in an office environment using standard office equipment.
• Talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephone.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
