IT Project Manager, Practitioner - US Tech Solutions, Inc.

• The role of the IT Project Manager Practitioner is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to schedule and within budget.
• This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.
• The IT Project Manager is responsible for defining the projects objectives and overseeing quality control throughout its life cycle.
• This individual provides formalized, continuing work direction and leadership to assigned team(s) to ensure timely and effective project execution.
• Also, he/she could participate in employee development, coaching and ongoing performance management.
• The project manager plans and directs the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple business areas.
• Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills; Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers; Solves a range of straightforward problems; analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures; Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.
• Client IT Team is looking for a Scrum Master to jump in with big contributions to our initiatives in generative AI and deliver high quality game-changing technologies for our enterprise!
• As a servant-leader, the Scrum Master leads dedicated teams to deliver business value through their development and delivery execution.
• You must be able to build trusted relationships with the team and with their stakeholders to ensure the needs of all team members are met.
• Ideal candidates will have strong communication and facilitation skills, are well organized, and exhibit above average follow-up and follow-through skills.
• They facilitate discussion, decision-making and conflict resolution.

• Encourage Agile behaviors, reinforce practices, norms, ceremonies, and support the overall team performance and efficiency
• Create an environment whereby the team is motivated, self-organizing and self-sufficient
• Organize and facilitate effective Scrum rituals: backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, and sprint retrospective
• Encourage your teams to routinely inspect and adapt
• Identify and facilitate the removal of team impediments and escalate as appropriate
• Work with and coach Product Owners to develop, manage, and continuously groom the team’s product backlog
• Facilitate cross-team coordination and resolve conflict to empower collaboration between developers and departments
• Assist Product Owners with planning and grooming activities
• Drive a reciprocal and encouraging team culture through team building and engagement practices
• Help teams assess the overall health of their Agile practices and culture to identify opportunities to improve and provide coaching to make those improvements
• Identify, track, and share effective metrics to forecast delivery.

• Possess a positive attitude and work well with others
• Are flexible and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks
• Can influence and drive teams to success using Agile practices
• Have excellent people-interaction skills and communicate internally and externally to improve visibility
• Are well organized and disciplined
• Have a deep background in mentoring and developing teams into self-organizing, cross-functional teams
• Will go above and beyond to make sure the team is successful
• Take your work seriously, but you don’t take yourself too seriously

• First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM), or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience performing the Scrum Master for 2 or more software development teams utilizing SDLC
• 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, etc.) and toolsets (Atlassian suite, etc.)
