IT Project Manager - Savvee Consulting Inc

Savvee Consulting Inc. is seeking to hire an IT Project Manager to support our federal client in a hybrid of telework and onsite in Quantico, VA. Candidates in consideration for this position will have extensive experience in project management on large-scale federal IT projects along with hands-on experience with project management and office processes/procedures. Candidates must also have a strong knowledge in asset management and IT mobile communications.

Essential Functions

• Leading and managing various types of IT projects throughout the project lifecycle, including large-scale efforts
• Creating technical IT documentation, including process flows and recommendations to the PMO Manager regarding solutions to technical issues
• Creating Project Management Office related analyses and related documentation, including schedule analyses (EVM, ETC, critical path, and individual task analysis), acceptance test plans, and related documentation, etc.
• Interfacing and collaboratively working with the government client, PMO resources, and contractor subject matter experts
• Reporting directly to PMO lead on a scheduled basis to report project status, issues, risks, and possible mitigations
• Making IT recommendations and advising the PMO of all management, planning, and technical issues
• Assisting the PMO Manager with documenting and communicating all project management efforts, meetings, and plans
• Knowledgeable of Information Assurance/Accreditation, Portfolio Management, and IT lifecycle processes
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to client
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support

Education & Training

• Must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree
• PMP certification

Minimum Experience & Skills

• Five or more years of IT Project Management experience
• Acute attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven self-starter with the ability to adapt in a busy environment

Desired Education/Certifications & Skills

• Top Secret security clearance
