Duration – 06 months +

ABOUT THE ROLE
PM will serve as a technical resource to the County's IT Dept. Primarily be responsible for working with key process owners in the planning, scheduling, and coordinating of all work related to the IT portfolio to include internal/operational projects
Performs project management responsibilities for multiple interrelated projects, some may require
public input, multiple process teams, and multiple groups of project stakeholders and potentially multiple contracts;
Timely and effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors, process owners and project stakeholders, as appropriate;
Develops and administers a schedule utilizing MS Project to schedule activities, identify critical
paths and required resources, and takes the lead role in monthly reporting to ensure objectives are implemented on time and within budget;
Supports training and facilitating the project management discipline across the IT department;
Advises and assists departments in the preparation of project plans, focus groups, stakeholder groups; and drives collaboration between related departments and functions.
Works with IT management to identify opportunities for improvement and ensures coordination with other County programs and systems;
May serve as a team leader on departmental or cross-departmental teams;
