Job Summary:
At Silencer Central, we believe that Customers + Integrity = Winning. The role of the project manager (PM) ensures resource availability and allocation. Coordinate internal resources, third parties and vendors for the flawless execution of projects, while ensuring the delivery of all projects on time, within scope and within budget.
Develops project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in the project scope, schedule and costs.
Manage relationships with all stakeholders, establish and maintain relationships with third parties and vendors. Report and escalate an issues to management as needed.
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress, and measure project performance using the appropriate systems, tools and techniques. Identify and assess risks and facilitate resolution to minimize project risks, and create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Essential Functions:
- Creates and organizes IT schedules and plans for multiple projects.
- Controls quality standards and budgeting in an ongoing IT project.
- Monitors every step in an IT project to ensure all aspects of the project are delivered on-time.
- Tracks and reports on the progress made in an IT project team.

- Assesses the potential synergies from combining common practices across teams.
- Mobilizes resources needed to get things done.
- Evaluates risk assessment models and techniques relevant to a specific line of business.
- Implements strategies for renewing or deepening change efforts.
- Works with clients to address critical issues and resolve major problems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or a related field required
- 5-7 years of project management experience required
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent preferred
- Analytical Thinking - Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis and the ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve the problems in the best interest of the business.
- Business Acumen - Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- Interpersonal Relationships - Knowledge of the techniques and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- IT Project Control & Reporting - Knowledge of and ability to monitor the vital signs of an IT project while managing its progress and delivery schedule.
- IT Project Management - Knowledge of and the ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects ensuring the utilization of technical resources to better achieve project objectives.
- IT Quality Assurance - Knowledge of and ability to utilize a variety of specific technical tools and testing methods to ensure the quality of IT production.
- Organizational Change Management - Knowledge of techniques to successfully effect change in an organization and ability to manage the successful and smooth transition from current to desired culture, practices, structure, and overall organizational environment
- Problem Management - Knowledge of the processes involved in problem control, error control and the production of management information; the ability to identify the root cause of problems in a timely and accurate manner and bring them to a successful resolution.
- Process Management - Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques and ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.
- Risk Management - Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques for assessing and controlling an organization's exposure to risks of various kinds; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
- System Testing - Knowledge of and ability to design, plan and execute system testing strategies and tactics to ensure the quality of software at all stages of the system life cycle.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 DOE. Silencer Central offers a competitive total compensation package that includes:
