seeks an IT Project Technical Lead for its Irving, Texas location.Duties: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects to define and establish engineering and DevOps practices
Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage
Implement tools and processes including CI/CD automation
Perform Cloud / containerization adoption
Identify inefficiencies and build re-usable, automated solutions
Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables
Analyze existing engineering processes and identify and prioritize areas for improvement; use a data-driven approach to prioritize and execute the highest value improvements and to measure key performance indicators
Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects and provide technical solutions and reusable patterns and processes
Develop tools and solutions that increase engineering velocity and quality
Contribute to automating build and deployment of software using Python, Shell, Ansible and Groovy
Host applications on Docker Containers and use Tomcat, Jboss, Apache, Linux, Helm, SQL
Contribute to Cloud adoption by defining and driving architectural evolution of applications
Use public cloud providers including Amazon Web Services
Prepare project status reports by collecting and analyzing information and trends
Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment
Build reports and automation
Submit project deliverables
Test automation including integration, API, load, and functional testing
Contribute to key DevOps initiatives and use DevOps tools uDeploy, Jenkins, Teamcity, Artifactory, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, Blackduck, OpenShift, Tekton, Harness and Maven
Define and drive best practices for software design, implementation, delivery, and operation
A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Systems Administrator, Senior Associate Consultant or closely related position developing DevOps processes for existing applications
6 years of experience must include: Continuous Integration & Deployment Automation
Jenkins, Bitbucket, Sonarqube, Maven, Tomcat, Jboss, Apache, uDeploy, Teamcity; Automating the build and deployments of software using scripting languages Python, Shell, ansible, Groovy; Docker Containerization, Linux, Helm, sql, Maven; Microservice automation and deployment; and Release engineering
