Who are you?
If being a Retail Project Manager means to you:
Technology Integration: Oversees the implementation of IT systems and technologies in retail environments, such as point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management, and e-commerce platforms.
Project Planning and Strategy: Develops and manages detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, tailored specifically to IT projects in a retail context.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Coordinates with technology vendors, internal IT teams, and retail stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are aligned.
System Testing and Deployment: Manages the testing and deployment phases of IT solutions, ensuring that systems are thoroughly tested, issues are resolved, and deployments are executed smoothly.
Risk and Issue Management: Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks associated with IT projects, addressing technical challenges and operational issues to minimize impact on retail operations.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Tracks project progress, measures outcomes against objectives, and provides regular updates and performance reports to stakeholders, ensuring projects deliver the desired business value.

- Define the sharing and skills development dynamic within the IT Retail community (Training, Best Practices, R&D watch, analysis of the positioning of the POS solutions, etc.);
- Implement data analytics solutions (analysis, functional and technical specifications, design workshops, development);
- Carry out expert missions or needs scoping;
- Participate in pre-sales actions (Demo, POC...);
- Ensure quality aspects (robustness, performance, resilience, accuracy, scalability, readability);
- Learn and share your knowledge and ideas within a collective driven by technology.
