About the Role…


The IT SAP Analyst will work with the business functions in the development, maintenance, enhancement and support of Beech-Nut’s SAP system including researching and implementing solutions to streamline operations. Primary responsibilities will include providing first-line support for FICO related tickets, delivering changes to FICO configurations in accordance with business requirements and providing backup support on maintaining ERP master data records. As part of production support, this role will participate in providing end user training, troubleshooting issues, writing or updating process documentation and testing new system changes. Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and projects to enhance business processes will be a key responsibility. Effectively collaborating with cross-functional business teams and other IT functions to help contribute to the success of high visibility projects is essential in this role.





About the Team…


The IT Team is comprised of technical individuals who are the masterminds behind all Beech-Nut’s information and technology systems. The team is responsible for enterprise architecture, IT maintenance, network/system administration, IT security, and supporting all IT infrastructure and systems. The team works diligently to develop and implement Beech-Nut’s IT systems to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness for our team so we can deliver high quality, safe, and nutritious foods for babies and toddlers!

About the Work Environment…


This is an on-site position that is located at the Amsterdam, New York LEED® certified production facility. Most job functions are performed in a well-lit, environmentally controlled office environment. As a manufacturing location, this position may require one to be in an environment that requires hairnet, beard cover, safety glasses, hearing protection and lab coat. Restrictions include wearing of jewelry, nail polish and acrylic nails. Other personal protection equipment may be required for certain tasks.





What You’ll Do…



+ Participate in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of SAP ERP and all integrated systems


+ Provide professional customer service to users for SAP and non-SAP application support by monitoring, assigning, troubleshooting, and resolving SAP issues that are submitted by users through our ticketing system, accurately and timely.


+ Provides technical expertise, leadership and project coordination services to ensure all SAP and integrated business applications function as designed


+ Provide backup functions for maintaining master data including Vendors, customers, BOMS, and routers


+ Research production problems, perform root cause analysis, document solutions, and implement countermeasures to prevent reoccurring issues.


+ Collaborate with business users to analyze business processes, define solutions, and communicate required changes.


+ Support the plan and implementation of configuration changes and coordinate/validate user testing and deployment to production.


+ Validate and maintain data, mapping rules, and process flows for different business areas.


+ Capture detailed meeting records during project meetings


+ Develop and revise standard operating procedures, user documentation, business process workflows and training materials.


+ Translate business requirements into detailed functional/technical SOP(s)


+ Participate in functional, unit, regression, and integration testing for go-lives and software updates.

What You’ll Need…



+ AS/BS degree in an appropriate Information Technology degree or equivalent experience required


+ 2-5 years of SAP ERP experience


+ Understanding computer technologies, applications, and project management methods


+ Knowledge & experience of database structures and relational theory


+ Be detail oriented and have excellent written and communication skills


+ Application development experience is required


+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


+ Experience as a cross-functional team lead, with the ability to facilitate meetings and manage projects, including task and resource planning, milestones, budgets, and communications

Pay: The annual base salary range for this hybrid role is $70,000-$90,000. This is a salaried-exempt position.
