About the Job
ASRC Federal is currently seeking an IT Service Desk Specialist-II to support an upcoming DHA contract. This work will be located onsite in San Antonio, TX.
This position is contingent based on the successful award of contract to ASRC Federal.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Answers questions, analyzes problems and provides technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems through phone, email, or chat.
* Resolves computer software and hardware problems of users and acts as a contact for users having problems using computer software, hardware, and operating systems.
* Acts as the escalation path to resolve moderate to highly complex technical issues.
* Specialized in certain aspects of technologies to assist the customer base.
* Provides support for call overflow during peak time or reduced staff during off peak hours.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
* Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
* Experience working on-site providing superior deskside support across multiple sites.
* Experience working with a CRM like ServiceNow.
* At least one IAT II Certification:
* CCNA Security
* CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)
* Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
* GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
* CompTIA Security+ CE
* Certified Network Defender (C|ND)
* ISC Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
* To meet government contract requirements, must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust or DoD Security clearance.
* Must successfully complete a government issued background investigation.
