About the Job
New temp-to-hire opportunity for an IT Service Desk Technician with an excellent local company! This role will assist local and remote staff with troubleshooting and repairing system and technical issues.
Responsibilities of the Service Desk Technician will include:
- Provide technical assistance for systems, software, and hardware issues
- Resolve and follow up on technical requests in person or remotely
- Provision equipment for end users
- Maintain all appropriate documentation and training materials
- Manage printers and scanners
- Perform basic diagnostic, administration, and repair tasks
- Research and test new technology
- Assist with auditing, inventory management, and software maintenance
Qualified candidates for the role of IT Service Desk Technician will possess:
- Bachelor"s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience troubleshooting computer issues
- Excellent customer service skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Pay for this position is commensurate with experience and education, ranging roughly from $20-23/hr.
