Job Summary: The IT Service Desk Technician will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues. You will be working with our service desk team assisting corporate and branch offices with various PC and Software support inquiries to ensure smooth operations and resolve IT-related problems. This includes troubleshooting hardware and software issues, guiding users through solutions, and escalating complex problems to higher-level support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support users with all telephone and email support requests related to Hardware and Software and assure timely and accurate responses/outcomes.
- Assist in performing hardware and software installation procedures.
- Perform software configuration on stand-alone computers and laptops.
- Track and Log all help desk requests, diagnosing activities, and resolutions.
- Assist in hardware and software inventory management.
- Troubleshoot equipment such as printers and scanners and other peripherals.
- Participate in the development and support of software applications.
- Handle researching options and research computer/software bugs and their solutions.
- Create user accounts, assist field clinicians and office staff with level 1 software questions, synching issues, and basic system processes.
- Assist with Creating Active Directory accounts, assigning File Share access, FTP set-up.
- Communicate with others in a polite and professional manner.
- Enthusiastic and adept at learning new systems.
- Participate in on-call support rotation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associates/Bachelors or Relevant work experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience.
- Help desk: 1 year (Required)
- Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
- Experience with M365, Active Directory
Working Conditions:
- This position typically operates in an office environment.
- May be required to participate in Weekend On-Call Rotation.
- Must be able to lift and stoop effectively to perform the above listed job responsibilities.
Pay: $55,000-$65,000
