Summary of Position
This is a new position within our technology department. The IT Solutions Manager is crucial for supporting our
technological infrastructure, focusing on the effective use and implementation of technology solutions, including
business intelligence tools, ERP systems like NAV 2018, Salesforce, and Workfront. This role directly impacts
operational efficiency and contributes to our ongoing improvements and growth.
Essential Job Duties
- Develop and manage OneLake workspaces, ensuring they meet departmental needs while adhering to governance standards. This highlights the importance of comprehensive knowledge in OneLake.
- Support the rollout of Power BI across departments, ensuring successful deployment and effective adoption. Provide training to enhance user competence.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand departmental needs and help streamline processes through technology solutions.
- Support internal stakeholders, including senior management and department heads, to align technology solutions with business needs.
- Assist senior IT staff in guiding technical teams and providing support for system integration and troubleshooting.
- Help maintain security and compliance standards across all enterprise solutions, addressing potential cybersecurity risks.
- Monitor the performance of IT systems, analyzing data to recommend improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with OneLake, Power BI and familiarity with SharePoint.
- Practical knowledge of implementing, configuring, and maintaining IT solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to follow projects through to completion.
- Highly self-driven and accountable for deliverables
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate information and exchange ideas with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
- Knowledge of Salesforce.
- Exposure to Workfront.
- Experience in process manufacturing within a CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) environment.
- Understanding of basic programming and IT infrastructure maintenance.
Working Conditions
- Office setting with the ability to remain in a stationary sitting position 75% of the time.
