This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Technology and Innovation. The incumbent will use data purposefully, to analyze and distill data to enable informed decision-making in all internal and external functions.
Responsibilities
The following are the duties of this position at the CN-53, broadly equivalent to the GS-13. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Use knowledge of best practices in data management to identify opportunities, propose solutions, and deliver projects to advance the Bureau's use of data.
- Lead projects with stakeholders across the Bureau to develop business requirements, integrate requirements, negotiate trade-offs and develop options to meets diverse stakeholder needs.
- Lead cross-functional project teams from offices across the Bureau and T&I to deliver solutions on approved initiatives.
- Develop proposals to gather and integrate new potential data sources about consumer financial markets.
- Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.
